About the author
J. G. Johnson served as a professional school counselor at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, for over 20 years. Her passion has been developing resources for classroom, individual, and small group guidance, focusing on character education. She wrote "Veda Learns To Take Turns" to help educators and parents teach important pillars of good character, including kindness, compassion, and respect.

She is the proud parent of three children and three grandchildren.

Illustrator, A.J. Lewis, is the daughter of J.G. Johnson. She has a B.A. in fine arts and has worked in the visual arts field for over 15 years. Inspired by her mother's stories and vision, she was excited to utilize her creative talents as the book's illustrator.
